Yearbook Orders

Follow the link to purchase your student a yearbook.

https://www.vipis.com/group/33982cdf/st.-gregory-the-great-school to order.

The final date to order is May 4, 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will my yearbook be sent home?: No, yearbooks ordered before the ordering deadline will be delivered to the school to be handed out. Our ordering system requires a shipping address, but no matter what is entered there, the yearbooks have a school delivery

Did I order a yearbook?: Parents will receive an email when their order is confirmed. Have them search their inbox (or spam folder) for an email with the terms "yearbook" or "VIP". If they did not get that email, it's likely that their order didn't go through. Parents can contact our customer support at support@vipis.com or (262)375-4457 for help.

You can see an up-to-date list of yearbook orders by logging into the Client Portal, then clicking "Reports" > "Yearbook Order Summary".

Will there be late ordering?: Late ordering will only be available after the last day of school. Books will be more expensive and be sent directly home over the summer. I will be sending out more information about late ordering down the road. Please encourage parents to order before the deadline!

Empty to Fill: A Lenten Journey of Virtues

This Lent, we are focusing on the theme "Empty to Fill" by working to fill our hearts with virtues while raising money to support Catholic Charities. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about and practice virtues in their daily lives.

How It Works:

  • Each class has a heart to fill with virtues.

  • Students should earn money at home by demonstrating virtuous acts.

  • Every virtue has a value, and the goal is for each class to raise $100 to completely fill the heart.

  • Classes that reach their goal will earn a Dress Down Day (the date will be announced after Easter).

Growing in Virtue

As we journey through Lent, we’ll learn how living with kindness, patience, generosity, and other virtues can help shape our hearts and our community. Let’s work together to fill our hearts and make a difference!

School Advisory Commission Membership Vacancies

This year we have had 4 members on our school advisory commission team, but a couple members are no longer able to participate. We are actually required to have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 9 members on the commission. It has been difficult to recruit new members to the team, but the school commission is vital to the governance and sustainability of the school and is a mandatory component of leadership, accreditation and the school’s participation in the Parental Choice programs. School Advisory Commission is an advisory board for the principal. It does not require special knowledge, experience, or skills. It is for adults in the community who have an interest in the school and a desire to contribute to its continued advancement. I am strongly asking, urging, encouraging, and begging for volunteers to join the commission. Please call the school or email Amy Schlegel at aschlegel@stgregsmil.org if you would like more information.

Our Sharing Garden Continues to Grow!

Congratulations to our Director of Food Services, Ms. Jean Dery for completing the DPI School Nutrition Team’s Farm to School (F2S) Survey and winning the grand prize of a Rise Garden hydroponic grow tower (1 level)! Ms. Dery graciously donated the rise garden to our school Sharing Garden so the students can enjoy year round gardening. We look forward to sampling and sharing the extra harvest! Thank you, Ms. Dery!

School Report Card ★★★★★

The stars are in, and we still have 5 of them! St. Gregory the Great Parish School significantly exceeds expectations for the 3rd year in a row, as recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  Our overall score is 85.3. The full report can be viewed on our school website.

As part of the state accountability system, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) produces report cards for every publicly funded school and district in Wisconsin. These report cards include data on multiple indicators for multiple years across four Priority Areas (Achievement, Growth, Target Group Outcomes, and On-track to Graduation). A school or district's overall accountability score places the school/district into one of five overall accountability ratings:

For more detailed information about the creation and scoring for the report cards, see the Report Card Resources page.

St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Greg’s Parish

If you are in need of assistance with food, the St. Vincent De Paul Society operates a food pantry at St. Greg’s on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am—Noon. The pantry operates out of Tenpenny Hall. Enter at Door 11. If you have not used the pantry before, please bring a photo ID, a current piece of mail, and documentation for each family member. We serve all school families regardless of where they live. Please mention that you are a school family when you sign in. Bilingual volunteers are present at the pantry to assist if needed. If you would like to talk with someone from the St. Vincent de Paul Society about other types of assistance, please contact the St. Vincent de Paul help line at 414-491-9768, or email us at svdp@stgregsmil.org. Our school Madrinas are also willing to help Spanish speaking parents to make contact with the Society. We care about your family and we are here to help.
