Hi! My name is Lisa Gebhard.

I am happy to be the Second Grade Teacher at St. Gregory the Great Parish School. I graduated from UW - Milwaukee with a degree in Elementary Education and returned to school a few years later to receive a Masters in Education from Cardinal Stritch University. I have been a teacher in the Archdiocese for 27 years. I started my career teaching third grade, but I have also taught second and fourth grade. I spent many years working with struggling readers in small groups and with individuals from kindergarten to eight grade as a reading interventionist. I love to teach reading! It is so exciting to watch students put sounds together, read words, and understand the text they are reading. The smiles and excitement on their faces is very rewarding.

When I am not working I enjoy quilting, reading, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.
