  I am new to St. Gregory the Great Parish School, but have worked with students in various capacities in the past and am excited to be teaching fifth grade this year.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Goucher College in Maryland, my home state, and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education.  The students love knowing that I have homework, too!  My experience in laboratory science gave me a love for hands-on learning, inquiry-based instruction, and collaboration.  I am enjoying teaching academic knowledge and skills, as well as life skills such as how to work with others.  My favorite class discussions are centered around how to put our faith into action.  Away from school, you can find me on the trails, marveling at the natural beauty in parks around Wisconsin.
